NORFOLK, Va. – Muhammed Saadeldeen scored 29 points to help push the Northern Virginia Community College men's basketball team to a 65-58 victory over Bryant and Stratton Sunday afternoon.

During first half action, Saadeldeen was 5-of-11 from the field, which includes a 2-for-2 performance from the beyond the arc. Trevaun Hyatt, meanwhile, dished five assists and stole the ball five times to help anchor the defense.
Michael Elliot began heating up in the second half, as he finished the day with 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting. Saadeldeen continued to have the hot hand in the second period, as he was 11-for-23 Sunday evening and 5-of-6 from the line.
Hyatt, who struggled from the field was able to break the school record for steals in a game with 11 and his 11 assists ranks sixth.
