ANNANDALE – With a win Friday over 10th ranked Montgomery, the nationally recognized Northern Virginia Community College soccer team will earn the top seed in the upcoming NJCAA Region 20 Division III Tournament, which begins Friday, Oct. 27 at Anne Arundel.
The Nighthawks are 10-2-0 this season and have won four straight since their 5-3 loss to Prince George's back on Sept. 26.
Recap the 10th victory
Everton Bailey and Cristian Fuentes each scored a pair of goals to lead NOVA past Allegany 5-0. Joshua Fleming, meanwhile, earned his fourth win and grabbed his team-best second shutout of the season.
