Both contests this week feature live stats broadcast on NOVAathletics.com. Thursday's game is also the final home game for the eight sophomores – four of the sophomores have played two seasons in a NOVA uniform.

SOFTBALL
After mother nature kept postponing the green and gold's season opener, NOVA finally got its first game in last week. The Nighthawks dropped a 24-2 and 20-18 doubleheader to Montgomery last week with the wind blowing straight out to center.

The first opponent this week is Anne Arundel, who is 6-19 this season, while Christendom is 4-8. In two of Christendom's four wins, the Crusaders defeated Trinity 88-1 in the doubleheader back on April 6.

CCBC Catonsville, meanwhile, plays three twinbills before meeting the Nighthawks Sunday. The Cardinals have won nine straight and are 22-8 this season.
