ANNANDALE – This week's action begins Monday with a basketball doubleheader against Howard, and it wraps up next Sunday afternoon when the hockey team takes on Gettysburg in Frederick, Md.

Men's Basketball
Coming off of a 15-point victory over instate foe Thomas Nelson, the Nighthawks play their next six games against NJCAA Region 20 foes beginning Monday when they host Howard. Monday's game against the Dragons will be broadcast live on Facebook.com/NOVANighthawks.

Last season against Howard, the Nighthawks fell in overtime, but were led by Tavaris James,who scored 31 points, while Drew Jackson added 23 off the bench and pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds.

Women's Basketball
The Nighthawks wrap up its season-long six-game homestand next week, with games against Howard and Montgomery. NOVA is 5-0 all-time against the Dragons including last seasons 103-21 victory in Columbia, Md.

Jalita Montgomery led the Nighthawks in the win over Howard last season, as she poured in a school record 51 points. NOVA forced the Dragons into 46 turnovers and 7-of-36 shooting from the field.

Esports
The Overwatch team got the Nighthawks Esports going last week with a 2-0 victory over Lebanon Valley, while League of Legends fell 2-0 to LSU.

Both of the Overwatch and League of Legends squads return to play again this week starting Tuesday. The Esports week concludes Saturday at 4 p.m. with the League of Legends team taking on an opponent to be determined.

Hockey
The 6-10-1 Nighthawks conclude the regular season this week with a pair of games, which includes the home finale Friday evening. NOVA and American drop the puck at 9:40 p.m. inside the Prince William Ice Center.
