Scott and Waldo become Nighthawks

ANNANDALE – The Northern Virginia Community College volleyball team and head coach Marcus Robinson have announced the signing of Rachel Scott and Kelsey Waldo to a letter of intent Tuesday.

Scott, who will graduate from Stone Bridge High School was a member of the varsity volleyball team as a junior and senior. As a libero, she helped the Bulldogs to a conference and regional championship, as she finished her senior season with 218 digs.

In the classroom, Scott is a member of the National Honor Society of High School Scholars and is a four-year member of the athletic department honor roll. She is also secretary of the American Sign Language Club.

Waldo attends Brentsville High School and has been a part of the Tigers varsity squad all four years. As a junior, Waldo helped the Tigers finish second at regionals and win 13 games. Prior to moving to northern Virginia, Waldo lived in Tahlequah, Okla. 

Away from volleyball, Waldo is a member of FFA, National Art Honor Society and was president of the Spanish Club.
