In the fall of 2018, the Northern Virginia Community College athletic department unveiled its state-of-the-art Esports Arena on the fourth floor of the CT Building, which is located on the Annandale campus.

In the first season of the program, the Nighthawks had a great deal of success, and it's in part to the top of the line technology NOVA has given the esports student-athletes.

The year old arena features 10 gaming stations, along with the equipment to broadcast live in on Twitch.

The PC used in the esports arena are Corsair One Pro CPU:Intel I7-7700, Liquid Cooled, GPU:NVIDIA GTX 1080, Liquid Cooled, DRAM 16GB 2666MHZ DDR4, Storage: 480GB SSDm 2TB HDD, Motherboard: Z370, PSU: 400w SFX, 80 PLUS GOLD.

 

The monitors the Nighthawk use are Asus PG278 27 inch 165 hz, while the mouse is a Razer Deathadder Pro. The keyboard, meanwhile is a Corsair K70 with Cherry Red Switches and the headset is a HyperX Cloud II.

The NOVA student-athletes are able to game in custom NOVA Nighthawks DXRACER seats.
