ANNANDALE – The 2018-19 athletic season was filled with tremendous action on the court and field, and for the next week the Northern Virginia Community College athletic department is counting down the top 10 moments.
The Nighthawks athletics staff has selected Michael Elliot’s school record breaking 41 points and 12 three-point field goals at Frederick as our No. 4 moment of the 2018-19 school year.
Elliot, who broke Frank Agyemang’s previous mark of 37 points, which was set against Montgomery and Potomac State a year ago also shattered the program record for the most three’s made in a game. Against the Cougars, Elliot drained 12 three-point field goals, which is three better than Ageymang's previous mark of nine.
The Sterling, native was tied for third on the team in points (310), first in three’s (75) and third in steals (24).
