ANNANDALE – Three members Northern Virginia Community College soccer team picked up a NJCAA All-Region 20 nod Friday, which was on by the coaches.
Ismael Ayala and Jack Carroll led the Nighthawks in goals and were just one of four in the region to score double digit goals in 2019. Ayala and Carroll tallied 10 goals apiece and combined to give five assists.
Ayala and Carroll also became the first soccer student-athletes at NOVA to score three goals in a match.
