ANNANDALE – Brianna Rogers scored a career-high 23 points, but the Northern Virginia Community College women's basketball team struggled in the 93-35 loss to Bryant and Stratton Thursday evening inside Ernst Gymnasium.
The Nighthawks fall to 0-2 this season and return to the court Thursday against Thomas Nelson at 5 p.m.
BSC scored first and never looked back, as Kaitlyn Roberts didn't hit the first bucket for NOVA until the seven minute mark. The Nighthawks, however couldn't get the offense going as they found themselves down by 18 with less than four minutes left in the opening quarter.
For the game, NOVA shot 31 percent (12-of-38) from the floor and was 4-for-11 from beyond the arc.
