NOVA snaps skid

 RALEIGH, N.C. – With the four set (25-13, 25-14, 21-25, 25-19) victory over Mid-Atlantic Christian Saturday afternoon, the Northern Virginia Community College volleyball team snapped a seven-match losing streak.

The Nighthawks improve to 10-10 on the season and begin a five-match homestand starting Saturday, Oct. 20.

Deveis Wooten and Brittany Connatser each had double digit kills, as Wooten smacked down 12 and Connatser added 11. As a team, the Nighthawks hit .158, as Connatser led the NOVA attack with a .500 attack percentage.

Rachel Scott, meanwhile, had a team-best five service aces and 17 digs. The Nighthawks as a team put down 17 service aces, as seven others had at least one ace.
