ANNANDALE – The Northern Virginia Community College volleyball team and head coach Marcus Robinson have announced the signing of Trinity Hensel to an NJCAA letter of intent Wednesday.
Hensel comes to the Nighthawks from Chantilly High School, where she played all four years and helped lead the team to a 28-win 2018 campaign. The 5-foot-8 Chantilly, native also led the Chargers to a state championship as well.
“We are thrilled to have Trinity join us this fall,” Robinson said. “She should make an immediate impact on our team and help solidify our front line defensively and offensively.”
Along with playing at Chantilly, Hensel has played club volleyball with Libero Volleyball Club, MB Volleyball Club, SYA Volleyball Club and Go Volley Volleyball Club.
Hensel becomes the first to sign with the Nighthawks for the 2019 season. NOVA is coming off of a Region 20 Championship and 36 victories over the last two seasons.
